Hey there fathers of the internet. Being a father is nothing like being a mother. Sure, on the outside they're both parenting roles. You still have to manage yourself, your job, partner, children, and personal life. But there are so many vast differences that just cannot be compared. Firstly, mom's say usually has more of an effect on the family than the dad. Sorry dads, your kids may not take you as seriously as mom. If the man is the head of the house, the woman is the neck, and she can twist the head any way she wants.

Secondly, mom tends to be a little more in tune to the kids wants and needs. Again, this isn't every father, but dad's have a stereotype of being a little less emotionally intelligent, and though they're great providers, they don't always have a strong grasp on their kid's emotional states. This puts mom in a better situation when it comes to respect and discipline. But dad's, don't worry. Your wife and kids still love you, even if they're laughing at you not being able to find the remote.
